Text Box: The Corrupt Illusions Association was initially founded in 2003 by Jonny Jobe and Cory Carpenter in a small town out side of Springfield Missouri called Republic. The club first began as a classic/muscle car and bike club. It was called Custom Vehicles Of Republic (C VOR) until early 2006. By 2006 most of the members were at a point in their lives when they needed to go their separate was. All except two remained in Republic, Jonny Jobe and Vice President Mike Rennison. Although both had big plans for the club, Mike was involved in another club in Springfield Missouri. In March of 2006 He was arrested and sentenced to 25 years at Licking State Correctional Facility in Missouri. By may Jonny felt it was time to move on. He moved to Gardner Kansas just outside of Kansas City. After trying out a local club in KC Jonny decided it was time to get the old club revived. He spent 6 months looking for a decent crew to start with. He also changed the name to Corrupt Illusions. In October 2006 CI Officially started. For the first year CI was primarily a Street racing club that also attended many local shows to spread the name. By the end of 2007 Jonny had sorted through 83 members looking for the perfect band of brothers to last through the years. This was extremely difficult since nearly everyone in the scene was just in it for fun. Jonny was in it for life. It was his lifestyle. Everything he did revolved around the scene and the club. It was then that Jonny decided to keep the club small. He set a maximum limit of 6 men per charter. This keep the club low key and out of the eyes of the law. During 2008 the club starting getting more interested in the bike scene and drifted away from the car scene. By October 2008 Jonny and Vice President Cory Backus added the Words "Motorcycle Club" to Corrupt Illusions. Now that they were the Corrupt Illusions Motorcycle Club many fellow enthusiast became interested in their ideas and goals. Therefore new charters began forming across the map. Until recently none of the new charters have been voted in. In October of 2009 CIMC voted in Corrupt Illusions Germany. To Date Corrupt Illusions is more than just a Motorcycle Club. It is a world wide association. In 2009 Corrupt Illusions Association became the Clubs constitution. Corrupt Illusions MC operates under the Corrupt Illusions Association along with the Corrupt Illusions Auto Salon, the Saints of Corruption, and the new charters forming across the globe. Corrupt Illusions is operating steady as a competing association in the motorcycle scene. They will be attending many events in the upcoming years to promote their way of life, and preserve the spirit of the words Motorcycle Club.
